Welcome to VibeReader. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VibeReader's Chrome extension or web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Service Description

VibeReader Pro provides premium AI-powered text-to-speech services with real-time highlighting. We offer:

• Free Trial: 5 minutes of high-quality TTS generation to test the service
• VibeReader Pro (Monthly): $9.99/month for 4 hours of high-quality TTS generation per month
• VibeReader Pro (Annual): $99.90/year for 4 hours of high-quality TTS generation per month (refreshed monthly)
• Unlimited Edge-TTS: Available on all plans at no additional cost

The 4-hour monthly quota refreshes on the same day each month and does not roll over to subsequent months.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account using Google OAuth to access our services. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Billing

VibeReader Pro subscriptions are processed through Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). By subscribing, you agree to:

• Monthly Plan: $9.99/month, billed monthly with automatic renewal until canceled
• Annual Plan: $99.90/year, billed annually with automatic renewal until canceled
• Current pricing at the time of renewal
• Our Refund Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply)

All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com. VibeReader does not store your payment information.

5. Usage Limits

VibeReader Pro includes a monthly usage limit of 4 hours (14,400 seconds) of high-quality TTS generation:

• Free trial users receive 5 minutes (300 seconds) total (one-time)
• Pro subscribers receive 4 hours per month, refreshed on the same day each month
• Unused quota does NOT roll over to the next month
• Edge-TTS voices remain unlimited and do not consume quota
• Usage is tracked in real-time and displayed in your account dashboard

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purposes or activities
• Generate, process, or distribute illegal content including but not limited to child exploitation material, terrorist content, or content that violates intellectual property rights
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or usage tracking mechanisms
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy our technology
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to abuse the service
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

VibeReader and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VibeReader and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with notice
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
• Update pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service or other users

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

10. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: VibeReader Pro is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

VibeReader is an AI-powered tool. We are NOT responsible for:

• The accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated audio output
• Any errors, mispronunciations, or inaccuracies in text-to-speech conversion
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, downtime, or technical issues
• Third-party content, services, or APIs (including Fish Speech, Edge TTS, etc.)
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the service

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VibeReader harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
